Just a few quick updates from the Loveland team today: we've rolled out a couple new features for all our paid accounts and we're excited to share them with you!
And as always, don't forget you can sign up for a Pro account by clicking here - in just a couple minutes, you can be using these features if you don't already have access!
Pro accounts and above now have access to Census data inside of your account when viewing an area at Census geographies (state, county, city, census tract, block group). Click the new Census tab on the left-hand sidebar to get started.
We've integrated additional basemap layers onto our site, which you can pull up under the Layers dropdown -- look out for a growing number of these in addition to the basemaps you already know and love.
Take Our Survey
We want to hear from you! Please take 30 seconds to fill out our five-question survey. What we work on with the site is directly related to feedback from our users, so let us know what you think and help make landgrid.com a better place!
Thanks, The Loveland Team

We're so excited about the reaction to the new landgrid.com site. One of the benefits is that it's much easier for us to provide more account features to meet your needs.
Here's a short list of what's new in February for our different user and customer levels:
Pro Account Updates
• Pro accounts will now find they can use a distance and area measuring tool under the Draw tool.
Soon you will also find an easy way to export your maps as images with a title and legend so you can drop it right into a report, presentation, or webpage with no hassle. New map layers are also on their way.
If you don't have a Pro account, signup for only $10/month or $100/year at landgrid.com/plans.
Enterprise Account Updates
• Enterprise accounts now include us importing your data into your account for you, as well as providing you with an account manager. There's a brand new Enterprise brochure page at landgrid.com/enterprise.
If your organization wants to see and manage its property information in an easier way, this is for you. Enterprise accounts are $10,000/year and we have room to add about 10 more this year. Claim your spot.
• In addition to our nationwide parcel licenses we are now offering raw data for individual counties for only $200, and we'll coach you on getting it into the right format for your needs.
If you only need a handful of counties for your app and are having trouble working with the source data, this is a great option for you. Learn more at landgrid.com/parcels and get in touch at email@example.com.
• Lastly, we've had counties approaching us about being their official parcel data viewer. If you or someone you love is a county (or in some cases a city) who would like to serve parcel data directly into the Land Grid so that you can provide high-quality parcel data to the public without paying for an expensive standalone parcel viewer, our team will work with you to set that up for no charge as we are currently doing in Cass County, Michigan: landgrid.com/us/mi/cass.
Thank you and enjoy the service from the Loveland Technologies team! As always you can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Press Release: Loveland Technologies releases landgrid.com for nationwide land parcel data
The way our America is subdivided, owned, taxed, and used is of critical importance to the health and development of our communities, yet this underlying land grid has largely remained inaccessible.
Enter landgrid.com. Loveland Technologies — a property mapping and data company headquartered in Detroit, Michigan — has spent years gathering and organizing a nationwide dataset of 140 million land parcel shapes and records that cover 95% of US residents. Now this information is available for public use alongside affordable tools to work with and add to it.
The site provides immediate value to anyone seeking property boundaries and public record information, whether that’s being curious about who owns the lot down the street, thinking about buying a house and wanting to see lot lines, or using the data for projects and professional purposes.
The nationwide dataset is also available for mapmakers and organizations to license for use in their own apps and databases. In this way landgrid.com seeks to help power a whole range of new geographic and property services, and to help other companies better serve their customers by adding parcel data to their interfaces and analysis.
Anyone can surf the information on landgrid.com for free, and paying members can access powerful tools for making and sharing maps for only $10/month or $100/year. Team and Enterprise accounts are also available for group projects, organizations, and governments.
Loveland previously operated two separate websites, makeloveland.com and sitecontrol.us — one for looking up property information, and one for making maps and doing property surveys. Landgrid.com brings these services together in one place with an integrated design and easy interface. Loveland’s other sites will continue to operate for existing customers, who can choose to use them or migrate to the Land Grid where their account data is already waiting.
Significant projects that have already happened using Loveland’s software include large-scale property condition and occupancy surveys covering cities like Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Flint, Milwaukee, and Hartford; statewide political canvassing, door-to-door resident outreach, and many community planning and development projects. The nationwide dataset has been licensed to companies working in energy, agriculture, machine learning, conservation, real estate, and other industries. Case-studies can be found on the landgrid.com homepage.
Please contact Nick Downer at email@example.com with press inquiries and interview requests, and visit landgrid.com to explore the site.

Welcome to landgrid.com. The Loveland team has been working on this update for some time, and we’re very glad you’re here. Please send your feedback and comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you’re familiar with our work over the years, think of landgrid.com as the best of our websites simplified and put into one place at a clear new domain name. We map the land grid, after all, and the importance of understanding the land grid is something we want to promote.
It’s important to note for our Site Control customers that the service will continue running as-is, so you can continue using it without anything changing. You will also find that your maps and data are waiting for you here as well.
If you’re new to our work, our goal is to be the go-to resource for anything related to land parcel data, and to be the best partner in helping you put it to work, whether you’re a curious person, a community organization, a business, or a government.
This site allows you to quickly look up parcel-level property information from public record data that we collect, clean, and assemble from around the entire country. This base map is interesting by itself, and we also provide tools for add to it and make and share maps. See our account levels at landgrid.com/plans.
If you would like to use the parcel data in your own app or database, we have great licensing options for that at landgrid.com/parcels and want to help power other mapping and spatial analysis services that can benefit from parcel data.
We do our very best to be good stewards of the data, to support projects that make communities stronger, and to provide a great experience for our visitors, partners, and customers.
Please let us know if there is anything about the experience you think can be improved and what new things you would like to be able to do on the site.
You can always reach us at email@example.com, and find us on social media at twitter.com/makeloveland, facebook.com/makeloveland, and instagram.com/makeloveland.
